How was With Style Weddings and Events created? Well, I love to tell a story, and this is mine!
As with many chefs who discovered that they wanted to make a career in the food industry, I found my passion whilst Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson were the hottest names on our tv screens in the noughties (2007). Living in Noosa was the perfect training ground, and I chose Bistro C as my muse! I soon realised that my calling lay in the ooze and luscious dreaminess of desserts, and headed to Sydney to enrol in a Patisserie course.
As soon as possible I had my kitchen approved and registered a business name. Hunny Bunny Cakes was born, and soon word spread that my cakes tasted amazing, I could also create their whole party menu, and make the room look pretty as well.
Before you know it I was planning, styling and baking for Weddings and events, with my beautiful daughter advising me that a better business name was on the cards too. So With Style complemented Hunny Bunny for a couple of years, until a relocation back to Noosa in 2015. The two businesses merged, and now With Style offers food, styling and planning for creative Sunshine Coast events.
Within the last few years, I discovered I had an egg allergy, so I put my creative energy into developing and researching amazing allergy-friendly and dietary-restricted treats. Now all your guests can enjoy an amazing cake or dinner party without being left out.
Today, I continue to enjoy the amazing produce, ingredients, and nature that the Sunshine Coast has to offer, transforming special occasions for family, friends and clients as my job- how lucky am I!
